Photos of Le Labo Store in Marylebone, London

The new Le Labo store is at 28a Devonshire Street, just off Marylebone High Street. See it on a map here.

I am intimidated by any shop that looks like this. It's cold and clinical, like a laboratory. (Is that what le labo means?) No color, no flowers. Hmmm. Very chic, I am sure, but I have nothing to wear to such a place. ;-)

Empathizing w/ Queen Cupcake I was itimidated by Le Labo's website. Since no one can actually see while you click around on their site in some strange order that could only make sense to you, I felt smarter after seeing how it all works. Seeing real pictures taken by real people take away some of the intimidating factor for me so thank you for those. I can now walk into Le Labo armed with a little confidence.

Hi Queen Cupcake. To be honest I find nearly all perfume stores quite intimidating. I feel like I don't have a right to be there. But somehow this must work in their favour, right? Otherwise they would make it less daunting to go in.

Hi Princess Glee. Fantastic that these photos have made you feel less intimidated. I know what you mean. In some ways you sort of know what to prepare for once you know what it looks like.

Nobody should be intimidated by a store ever, stores are created to serve the customers needs nothing more. Le Labo stores are not anything that should make anyone feel anything, but at home. Queen Cupcake you should go into the store in whatever outfit makes you comfortable, save your nightgown.

Singature Scent could you show us some photos of the new Aesop store in Shoreditch. Aesop has only two fragrances, but all their products smell divine. Pretty Please.

Hi Anonymous. Would love to know who you are. In the meantime, I've put up some photos of the Aesop store on Mount Street, which I happened to have. You can see them here http://bit.ly/cgDoMz

There are so many fragrance stores in the centre of London that I'm yet to photograph that it will probably be quite some time before I get to Shoreditch unfortunately.

Hmmm...I am not sure to say about my self, in this instance. Oh well, I will have a go---I am American, male and so in love with things of good design, sensual, British, and scented. I find myself fixed in place unable to travel to places that feed my insatiable appetite for beauty and culture beyond my country's borders. I have found myself at the steps of your portal, hoping to gorge myself on your view of beauty and culture from you vantage point, which you have generously put forth in abundance...I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for sharing "your view" of Aesop on Mount Street. I have seen many photos of it previously, but your photos and perspective have allowed me to follow you for a personal visit my life cannot afford me at the moment. I love the large format of the photos you post, they allow me to peek into the store windows as if I were there too. Thank you for your kindness.

p.s. I don't have any of the accounts on the menu, that is why I am Anonymous or A non a moose. :)
